Terms of Service

1This agreement

These Terms are between you and Alondra Delgado, a sole proprietor in Florida, operating the site at mvpmath.app ("MVP Math", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.

If you do not agree, do not create an account. If you have one, you can close it at any time by writing to support@mvpmath.app.

These Terms cover mvpmath.app only. The free school edition at mvpalgebra.com is governed by the agreement with the school or district that issued the seat code.

2Who can use it

• You must be at least 13 to create and hold an account. There is no upper age limit.
• If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must read and accept these Terms on your behalf. They are responsible for the account and for anything done with it.
• If the learner is under 13, a parent or guardian creates and holds the account in their own name.
• Only an adult can pay. Whoever enters payment details must be 18 or over and must own the card, or be authorised by its owner to use it.
• One account is for one person. Sharing a login is not permitted.
• If you are using this at the direction of a school, your school's agreement governs, not this one.

3Your account

• Give a real email address. It is the only way we can reset your password or reach you.
• Keep your password to yourself, and tell us at support@mvpmath.app if you think someone else has it.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• We do not delete accounts for inactivity. Your progress waits for you.

4Free and paid

What stays free

A free tier will remain available permanently, with no card and no expiry. It is not a trial and it will not become a countdown.

Before anything you use today moves behind a price, we will email you first. If you signed up during early access, you will be told what is changing and when, with enough notice to decide, rather than finding a lock where something used to be.

Paid plans

When they open, paid plans will unlock the parts of the course that sit outside the free tier, at the prices shown on the pricing page at the time you subscribe.

Renewal

• Subscriptions will renew automatically at the end of each period — monthly for a monthly plan, yearly for a yearly plan — at the price you are then paying.
• We will email you before a yearly plan renews, so an annual charge is never a surprise.
• If we change the price, current subscribers keep their price until they cancel, or are told at least 30 days before a renewal at a new one.

Cancelling

Email support@mvpmath.app from the address on the account and we will cancel it. (A self-service cancel button will exist before paid plans open; until it does, email is the way, and we will not make you chase us for it.) Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep paid access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the account then returns to the free tier rather than disappearing.

Refunds

• Within 14 days of a charge, ask and you get a full refund. You do not have to give a reason, and we will not ask you to sit through a retention offer.
• After 14 days we refund at our discretion — if something was broken, or you were charged for something you did not intend, write to us and we will sort it out.
• Refunds go back to the card that paid.

Payments will be processed by Stripe. Card details go to Stripe directly and never reach us. Taxes, where they apply, are added at checkout.

5Using the service properly

Do not:

• Share, sell, or resell access to your account
• Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically copy the questions, explanations or graphs, by hand or by machine
• Use the content to build or train a competing product or an AI model
• Attempt to break, overload, or find your way around the security of the site or its database
• Use the site to harass anyone, or for anything unlawful

If you do any of that, we may suspend or close the account. Where the reason is something you can fix, we will tell you first.

6Who owns what

Ours. The questions, the wrong answers and what they mean, the explanations, the graphs, the software, the name and the logo belong to MVP Math. Using the service gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning — and for a teacher, with your own students — but not to republish, redistribute or sell them.

Printed worksheets and slides generated for a classroom may be used with that teacher's own students. They may not be sold, posted publicly, or distributed beyond that classroom.

Yours. Your answers and your progress are yours. We use them to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy, and for nothing else.

The Florida B.E.S.T. standards are public documents published by the State of Florida. Our alignment to them is our own work.

7What we do not promise

What we do stand behind: the mathematics is correct, the explanations describe real mistakes students make, and the content is written against the Florida B.E.S.T. Algebra 1 benchmarks. If you find an error in a question, tell us and we will fix it.

8We are independent

MVP Math is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Florida Department of Education, any school district, any school, or any testing contractor. References to the B.E.S.T. standards or the Algebra 1 EOC describe what the material covers. They do not imply any endorsement, review, or approval.

MVP Math is built and operated privately. It is not a product of, and carries no endorsement from, any employer of its founder.

9Availability and changes

We will try to keep the site running and will give notice of planned downtime where we can, but we do not promise uninterrupted service.

We may add, change or retire features. If we remove something you are paying for and do not replace it with something equivalent, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of your period.

We may update these Terms. The date at the top changes, and for anything significant we email account holders before it takes effect. If you do not accept a change, you may cancel; continuing to use the service after it takes effect means you accept it.

10Ending it

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 5, that is using the service unlawfully, or where we are required to. Except where the law or the seriousness of the conduct prevents it, we will give you notice and a chance to put it right, and we will refund any unused paid period.

11Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or opportunity.

Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

12Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and both of us consent to that jurisdiction.

If any part of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing something straight away does not mean we have given it up.
