MVP The short version
- We collect very little. Your email, a name to call you, the year you were born, and what you do in the practice app. That is the whole list.
- There are no trackers on this site. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party cookies, no scripts watching you. We are not being modest — there simply are none. Your browser stores a sign-in token and your chosen name so you stay signed in; that is all.
- We never sell your information, and we do not use it to train AI models.
- We never see your password or your card number. Those are held by Google and by Stripe, not by us.
- We do not delete your account for being inactive. Come back after a year and your progress is still there.
- You can have everything deleted by emailing support@mvpmath.app. No form, no retention offer.
The rest of this page says the same things with the precision the law expects. If the two ever disagree, tell us — that is a bug in this page, not a trick.
1Who we are
MVP Math is an Algebra 1 practice site at mvpmath.app, operated by Alondra Delgado, a sole proprietor in Florida ("MVP Math", "we", "us").
You can reach us at support@mvpmath.app. A real person reads that address.
This policy covers mvpmath.app only. It does not cover mvpalgebra.com, the separate free edition used through schools, which is governed by the agreement with the school or district.
2What we collect
What you give us when you create an account

What the app records while you use it
- Which skills you practise, the answers you choose, and whether they were right
- Your accuracy and number of attempts per skill
- Progress markers: experience points, coins, streak length, and when you were last active
This is the part that makes the product work. It is what lets the app tell you why you missed something rather than just that you did.
What happens automatically
- Server logs. The site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting, which keeps standard web logs — IP address, browser type, the page requested, the time. This is ordinary infrastructure logging, not a profile of you.
- Fonts. The page loads typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google receives the IP address of whoever is viewing. Nothing about your account is sent with that request.
What is stored in your browser
Signing in keeps a small amount of information in your own browser's local storage, so that the app knows who you are as you move between pages and so you are not asked to sign in again on every screen. It is:
- An account identifier
- The name you chose to be called
- A flag recording that this is a real account rather than a demo
- A counter of how many questions you have attempted today
- The sign-in token issued by Google Firebase Authentication, which is what keeps you signed in
This lives on your device, not on ours, and clearing your browser data removes it. None of it is advertising or tracking. There are no third-party cookies on this site, and nothing here follows you to any other website.
3What we do not collect, and what we will not do
This section matters as much as the one above it.
- No analytics and no advertising trackers. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no Hotjar, no Mixpanel and no session recorder on this site.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Not now, and we will not start quietly — a change like that would require your consent, not a footnote.
- We do not use your data to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.
- We do not ask for a full date of birth, a home address, a phone number, your school, a government ID number, or a photograph.
- We never see or store card numbers. When paid plans open, payment is handled by Stripe, which collects card details directly. We receive only a confirmation that a subscription is active.
- We do not show you advertising and we do not let anyone pay to reach you here.
4Why we use what we collect
- To run your account and let you sign in
- To save your progress so it is there when you come back
- To choose what to show you next and to explain the mistakes you make
- To answer you when you write to support
- To keep the service working, secure, and free of abuse
- To take payment and manage a subscription, once paid plans open
We may also look at totals that are not about any one person — how often a particular question is missed, for instance — to improve the questions themselves. Nothing in that work identifies you.
5Who else touches your data
A small number of companies process data on our behalf so the service can exist. They may use it only to provide their service to us.

We will also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it — a valid subpoena, court order, or legal process — or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety. If we are ever permitted to tell you that this has happened, we will.
If the business is ever sold or merged, account data may transfer with it. You would be told before that happened, and this policy would continue to apply to the data already collected until you were given notice of any change.
6Children
A parent or guardian may create an account in their own name and let a child use it. In that case the account, and everything in it, belongs to the adult who created it — the adult is our user, and the adult can see, export or delete it at any time.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account here, write to support@mvpmath.app and we will remove it.
The free school edition at mvpalgebra.com works differently: schools issue seat codes, and the database there never holds a student's name. It is covered by the agreement with the school, not by this policy.
7How long we keep it
As long as you have an account. We do not delete accounts for inactivity — that is a deliberate choice. Someone who steps away for a school year should find their work waiting.
When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your account record and your progress from the live database. Backups roll over on their own cycle, so a copy may persist in backup for a short period before it is overwritten. Ordinary server logs age out on the host's schedule.
8Your choices
Different states and countries grant different rights. Rather than make you work out which ones apply to you, we offer all of these to everyone, wherever you live:
- See it. Ask for a copy of everything your account holds.
- Fix it. Correct anything that is wrong.
- Take it. Get it in a machine-readable file.
- Delete it. Have the account and its data removed.
- Object. Tell us to stop a particular use, and we will stop or explain why we cannot.
Email support@mvpmath.app from the address on the account. We aim to reply within 7 days and to complete the request within 30. There is no charge, no form to fill in, and we will not try to talk you out of leaving.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing for you to opt out of on that front.
9Security
- Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. Passwords are hashed by Google; we never hold them.
- Everything travels over HTTPS.
- The database rules are written so that an account can read and write only its own records. One user cannot reach another's progress, and no user can grant themselves a paid plan.
- Card details never reach our systems at all.
No service can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affects your information, we will tell you and say plainly what happened.
10Where your data is processed
In the United States, on Google infrastructure. If you use the site from outside the US, your information is transferred to and processed in the US.
11Changes to this policy
If we change it, we update the date at the top. If a change is significant — a new category of data, a new company touching it, a new purpose — we will email account holders before it takes effect rather than relying on you to notice.
